One of the main reasons is that it is extremely difficult to go through the insurance claiming process, which requires both time, knowledge, and a lot of patience.
With Insurello, there is no need to understand insurance-specific language, be equipped with plenty of time, or have a specific background. We want to help all people claim their accident insurance compensation instantly online and change the insurance landscape for the better. Our vision is to rebalance the power between customers and the insurance companies, enabling fair compensation for all.
Insurello is growing at a rapid pace, and now we are looking for a detailed-oriented and thorough Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Milan in February 2022.
Working in close cooperation with the Finance team in Sweden and the Italian operational team, the role includes:
Handling of accounts receivable from the insurance companies and accounts payable to our customers;
Processing and allocating transactions to the correct cases;
Acting as the first contact point to the external accounting firm regarding payroll and bookkeeping;
Helping to understand financial performance through data and analysis;
Acting as a go-to person for other ongoing company's financial administration;
Supporting the team in Italy with daily financial decisions (e.g., resource allocation for office supplies or team expenses).
Are we looking for you?
An ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, autonomous, and has a sense of integrity and accuracy. More precisely, we believe you should possess:
A relevant university degree completed in France (e.g., in Finance, Bookkeeping or Accounting);
Good proficiency in English (to be able to communicate with the HQ in Sweden) and professional proficiency in Italian;
Up to 3 years of professional experience;
Savviness with Excel – ideally, you are an avid advocate of it;
Ambition to work within a start-up environment where the growth pace is high, and the sky is the limit!
