Insurello is growing at a rapid pace, and we're now looking for an experienced Head of Revenue / CMO to lead the growth of our business by overseeing the strategy, development, and operations of Insurello's Marketing & Growth team. Working across the company and collaborating closely with the rest of the leadership team, this role will focus on the acquisition & retention of customers and building a lasting brand. This role will be based in the Stockholm office and report directly to our CEO. 

This is a high impact leadership position! The Head of Revenue / CMO will, along with the leadership team, help accelerate Insurello's annual growth rate by driving both the strategy and execution of lead generation and customer lifecycle marketing. You will manage Insurello's Marketing & Growth team along with marketing budget. Leveraging analytics and creative skills, you will lead to reaching various audience segments and assess delivering targets. Insurello has shown a great rate of growth, and now we are at the stage when we need to be even smarter, even more creative and even more strategic to ensure a long-term and sustainable growth rate. 

Primary responsibilities for the role are: 

  • Develop and drive Insurello's overall growth strategy, ensuring repeatable and scalable results; 
  • Lead the acquisition efforts and develop channel strategies to exceed targets with an eye toward cost-efficient growth and improving LTV:CAC ratio;
  • Own all performance metrics related to demand generation & branding, including the overall volume targets. Build reporting to track, analyse, and optimise the full-funnel metrics to improve leads' conversion and quality;
  • Partner deeply with Tech & Product team to define and implement strategies and initiatives that drive user acquisition, activation, and retention;
  • Evolve Insurello's brand to be a top brand in InsurTech;
  • Stay on top of market trends to understand growth opportunities and optimise storytelling to various target segments;
  • Manage and create dashboards to allow real-time access to KPIs against goals across the organisation and actionable insights;
  • Design an integrated and highly collaborative marketing team united behind a cohesive strategy;
  • Develop focused critical metrics that align marketing goals with broader business objectives.

You are a perfect match for the role with the following:

  • 7+ years of performance marketing or acquisition/lifecycle marketing
  • A successful track record of building and executing growth strategies for start-up and/or hyper-growth consumer products/services
  • Growth stage, digital-first, B2C scalable experience
  • Cross-functional leadership experience, working with marketing, product, sales, analytics, creative and finance to drive performance
  • Excellent creative and story-teller instincts
  • A data-driven approach to marketing and strong attention to detail, predicting the trends and identifying patterns. 

Your previous title or position is not as important as capabilities and ambition. However, some of your previous roles could have been named Head of Customer Acquisition and Revenue, Head of Growth, Head of Marketing & Growth, data-driven CMO, Performance Marketing Lead, etc. Please note that the position is not about sales or business development but entails data-driven digital marketing strategy and hands-on decisions.
